About My Images
| 1. How are my Photos Protected Online? | Top |
| | We have done everything possible to prevent image theft. However, there is no 100% way to prevent theft of any content that is transmitted across the web. Some malicious people are able to use screen capture programs or use some firefox browser plug-ins which are made just for the cracking of such image protections.
The only way to completely protect your images is to put a watermark in the middle of all images you upload. Learn how to Watermark your Images.
Below are the ways we protect your work:
1. IE Image ToolBar is disabled for all images (This is the little toolbar that appears on the image when you place cursor on it)
2. Mouse Right-Click is disabled
3. Mouse Drag and Drop is disabled
4. Clipboard is cleared to clear images taken by printscreen
5. Transparent GIF is placed over all images so that when you print onto paper, all you see is a blank white space
6. No access is ever given to high-resolution images which are secured
7. Viewable images from any webpage are adjusted to the minimum online browsing standards (70dpi) so that if they were to attempt to enlarge and print to a printer, the quality would be very poor
